Wow its already the final week of half term and
this week we are baking Spring Rolls to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The children need to grate their carrots, cut up their spring onion and cabbage as well as measuring ingredients and mixing to ensure the flavours are well spread.
Then the tricky part of carefully handling their filo pastry and wrapping into rolls.
Our recipe is much healthier than a traditional spring roll as it is baked in the oven rather than fried too.
While our spring rolls were cooking we found out about the Chinese Year the children were born in and some of their animals characteristics.
Keep and eye on your messages this week as Coten End parents will be sent their re-enrollment emails.
